Our DVD Rental Software can be integrated with all kinds of hardware devices that are important for proper functioning of the DVD Rental business. Below is a brief description of how these integrations work with a software

1. Mobile and SMS integration : a lot of countries work with payments on mobiles, for example a mobile recharge, SMS based rental queue updates. To fulfil the requirements of these countries we have developed plug-ins into our system that enable our system to function with mobiles. We are very soon going to come up with a mobile version of our software.

2. Printer integration – bar codes and bar code printing are an indispensable part of DVD Rental Software. All businesses need a unique ID of the stock that they carry and a mechanism in which they can print the bar codes. Our software can be used in 2 ways. The system has a functionality to generate codes automatically that are internal to the application or the system can be integrated with the bar code generator and scanner. This requirement has to be made clear to us in the beginning so that we can incorporate the functionality accordingly.

 

3. Bar code scanner integration : sending and returning stock manually by typing the entire code is a time taking and cumbersome process. To ease this process, bar code scanners can be integrated into the software so that returned stock is scanned into the system for updating inventory in real time. The bar codes are generated either by the application or using the bar code generator.

4. More hardware integrations : as our systems become more sophisticated we continue to add more hardware integrations and are open to suggestions and ideas which can make our software more up to date and convenient to use for our users.
